Bowling Green Housing Authority Job Fair

Barbara Pollock worked with the Bowling Green Housing Authority Self Sufficiency Committee and other community partners to develop the Community Career Fair. The event was held, March 12, 2009 at the Housing Authority. There were over 200 career/job seekers in attendance for the day. A couple of highlights for the Fair included Resume Writing with computer hands on availability and a Dress for Success information service.

A few of the Employment and Career locations in attendance included; Hot Rods, Insight, BGMU, Warren County School System, WKU, BGTC, the Employment Office, Job Corps, and others. Barbara assisted in the Resume Writing area, worked a shift checking customers in and worked the BRADD WIA area. Ms. Pam Goodbar was most helpful working the BRADD WIA area and assisting Victoria Woods in pulling together the needed items for the Career Fair.
